OUR STORY
So a little back story on how this came to be... Our CEO of Children of the Jungle Inc. planned a vacation to visit Yaviza, Panama. While on his vacation visiting old ruins, touring the jungle, and hiking the rainforest... he came across a tribe beyond the jungle, a tribe called the Embera Tribe. After stumbling upon this little tribe deep in the Panama jungle he met a man named Mecha Ruiz. Mecha and his wife have 5 kids together and live very primitively in a hut made of stone. Although, the family is very close-knit and full of love, they have had their fair share of misfortunes. Mecha's youngest daughter Leiah (2) was born with down syndrome and abnormally compromised lungs that affect the family's day to day life and especially hers. Her lungs are distorted and can't handle the humidity in the houses that they live in, and they are constantly trying to rebuild and fix their living conditions while not having the supplies to fix them, while also trying to make sure Leiah is stable with little to no doctors to help or diagnose her, they take a 7 hour trip to the city of Panama every 15 days on a boat just to bring her to the closest doctor. Our CEO saw this and was immediately set on finding a way to help the Embera Tribe in any ways he could.
